The Dixon Rule
Synopsis
Diana Dixon has a ballroom dance competition coming up, two jobs, and an ex who refuses to accept that they are over. The last thing she needs is her new neighbor, hockey player Shane Lindley, who has moved into her building and is sleeping his way through her cheerleading squad. So she lays down ground rules: no parties, leave her teammates alone, and leave her alone.
Shane, though, is tired of hookups and still recovering from a long relationship that ended. He wants something real. When his ex turns up again, he decides the quickest way to make her jealous is to pretend he is taken, and the one person who has made it clear she wants nothing to do with him is the obvious choice for a fake girlfriend.
What begins as a convenient arrangement becomes harder to keep pretend. The Dixon Rule is the second book in Elle Kennedy's Campus Diaries series, set in the same world as her Off-Campus and Briar U novels, and the story alternates between Diana's and Shane's points of view.
