Faking It with the Forward

Faking It with the Forward is a standalone fake-dating college romance set around Wittmore U's varsity hockey program. Twyler Perkins works as a team intern, and her boss has made it very clear the players are off limits. Reese Cain, the team's charming, womanizing captain, has other plans: he needs to look unavailable to keep his ex at bay and stay focused on the season, and Twyler is the perfect cover.

What starts as a convenient arrangement — fake dates, staged affection, a boost to Twyler's social standing — gets complicated as the pretending starts to feel less like an act. As their guards come down, both have to figure out what's real before the season, and their hearts, are on the line.
