Synopsis

Sabrina James has one goal: survive her last year at Briar University, get into law school, and leave behind the hard childhood she has fought her whole life to escape. A cocky hockey player is not part of the plan. But after one unforgettable night with John Tucker, Sabrina's carefully controlled future is upended by news neither of them saw coming.

Tucker is the steady, good-hearted heart of the Briar hockey house, the guy who takes care of everyone else. He is ready to step up in a way Sabrina does not expect and is not sure she can accept, having learned the hard way to rely on no one but herself. As the two navigate an unplanned pregnancy, family baggage, and very different ideas about the future, they have to decide whether they can build something real out of an accident.

The fourth book in Elle Kennedy's Off-Campus series, The Goal is a warm, emotional, and steamy new-adult sports romance about class, ambition, and learning to let someone in.
