Synopsis
Bored on a riverbank one summer afternoon, Alice follows a white rabbit down a hole and falls into Wonderland, where cakes and potions change her size, a Caterpillar speaks in riddles from atop a mushroom, a Cheshire Cat grins itself out of existence, and a Hatter and March Hare keep an endless tea party. Her adventure builds toward a mad croquet match and courtroom scene presided over by a short-tempered Queen of Hearts.
This edition presents Lewis Carroll's 1865 novel in parallel Spanish and English text, illustrated by John Tenniel, whose engravings have accompanied the book since its first printing.
