Synopsis

When a wealthy industrialist's son disappears, private investigator Elvis Cole goes undercover to infiltrate a brutal human trafficking ring operating along the border. The mission goes sideways when Cole is captured, leaving his partner Joe Pike to track him down through a violent criminal underworld. Pike must work fast to rescue his friend and the other hostages before they are lost forever in a world where people are traded like property.

Before turning to novels he wrote for series including Hill Street Blues, Miami Vice, Cagney & Lacey and L.A. Law.
