C. C. Hunter is the pen name of American author Christie Craig, an Alabama native who now lives in Texas. She writes young adult paranormal fiction as C. C. Hunter, best known for the New York Times bestselling Shadow Falls series and its follow-up, Shadow Falls: After Dark. Under her own name she writes humorous romantic suspense novels. Before writing fiction full-time she worked as a photojournalist.
