Synopsis

Kylie Galen's life has come apart: her parents are divorcing, her grandmother has died, her boyfriend has turned into someone she does not recognize, and a soldier nobody else can see keeps appearing in her yard. When she is packed off to Shadow Falls, a camp for troubled teenagers, she assumes it is a punishment.

Shadow Falls turns out to be a sanctuary for vampires, werewolves, fae, witches and shapeshifters. Everyone there knows what they are. Kylie does not, and the camp's leader will not tell her. Between two very different boys — a werewolf from her childhood and a brooding half-fae — and a mystery about her own blood, she has one summer to work out where she belongs.

C. C. Hunter opens the Shadow Falls series with a young adult paranormal set at the intersection of ordinary teenage misery and something far stranger.
