Frequently asked questions

  • Can I start reading the series with this volume?

This volume collects issues #7 through #12 of an ongoing, continuous narrative, so it is not intended to be read as a standalone. New readers should begin with the first volume to understand the established character dynamics and the complex history of the war between the two main extraterrestrial races.

  • How does the author structure the storytelling in this volume?

The narrative frequently utilizes non-linear storytelling by intercutting the present-day plot with flashbacks that provide essential context for the characters' pasts and their motivations. This technique is a hallmark of the author's writing style and is used to deepen the reader's understanding of the central conflict.
