Art student Alissa Meyer works part-time as a tattoo artist at Hamburg's INKnovation studio, and she's strict about one thing: no getting involved with clients. Then Simon Roth walks in wanting to cover up an embarrassingly sentimental tattoo, and the pull between them is instant.
Alissa carries guilt from a past family event that her sister Becka is quick to exploit, while Simon - a fundamentally good person who has made his share of mistakes - is finally standing on steadier ground in his own life. As their paths keep crossing outside the studio, Alissa's rule starts to look less like protection and more like a wall she has to decide whether to tear down.
Regenglanz opens Anya Omah's Sturm-Trilogie, told in alternating first-person chapters from Alissa and Simon.
