Synopsis

Orphaned siblings Judith and Peregrine Tavener travel to London expecting a kindly old guardian, only to find the Fifth Earl of Worth, Lord Julian St. John Audley, a man they deem an arrogant dandy. He wants nothing to do with them, and they want nothing to do with him. But as Judith navigates London society and her brother disappears, she must rely on her guardian, forcing them into close proximity and a complicated dance of suspicion and attraction.
