Promethea (Book 4)

Synopsis

The cosmic tour that began in the previous volume reaches its conclusion here, as Promethea and Barbara Shelley continue through the sephirot of the afterlife in search of Barbara's late husband. The journey leans harder into philosophy than plot, with Alan Moore working to reconcile ideas from a wide range of religious traditions into a single layered picture of what comes after death.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Grace Brannagh, a former Promethea now sharing a body with Stacia, finds her connection to her unlikely host deepening into something neither of them planned for.

Collecting issues #19–25, Promethea Book 4 closes out the series' most metaphysically ambitious stretch before the story turns back toward its climax.
