Synopsis

Father Tyler Bell is a good priest. He is devoted to his parish, faithful to his vows, and certain of the life he has chosen—until Poppy Danforth walks into his confessional and refuses to stay in the neat compartment where he tries to keep her. Beautiful, guarded, and carrying secrets of her own, she awakens a hunger in him that no amount of prayer will quiet.

What follows is a slow, agonizing fall as Tyler is torn between the calling he loves and a desire he cannot confess. Poppy has her own reasons to keep her distance, and the closer the two grow, the more each of them risks losing the very things that hold their lives together.

The first book in Sierra Simone's Priest series, Priest is an unapologetically explicit, emotionally charged contemporary romance about faith, guilt, and forbidden desire. It is frank in its treatment of both religion and sex, and best suited to adult readers comfortable with graphic content.
