Synopsis

The Maddest Obsession is the second novel in Danielle Lori's Made series, a dark mafia romance written to stand on its own. It follows Gianna, a young, sharp-tongued woman bound to the Cosa Nostra by blood and marriage, who hides her panic attacks behind glittering dresses and a quick, cutting wit.

Christian Allister is her opposite in every way: an icy, exacting man of few words whose life runs on rigid order and self-control. When his world collides with Gianna's chaos, the friction between them curdles into something neither can name or contain — an obsession born of discipline on one side and relentless provocation on the other.

Told in Lori's signature slow-burn style, the book pairs biting banter with a genuinely tender emotional core, tracing how two guarded, damaged people inch toward trust against the violent backdrop of organized crime. Readers should expect explicit content, morally grey leads, and the brooding, possessive hero the Made series is known for.
