Synopsis

In an attempt to corrupt the indomitable Gauls, a young Roman economist tries to introduce capitalism to the village by buying up Obelix's menhirs. Soon, the simple life of the villagers is turned upside down as they trade hunting boars for the pursuit of profit. This classic satire explores how greed and competition can be more disruptive than any Roman legion.
