Synopsis

When the Roman Prefect kidnaps the village bard Cacofonix as a gift for Julius Caesar, Asterix and Obelix head to Rome on a rescue mission. To infiltrate the Great Circus and save their friend, the duo must sign up as gladiators and face the might of the Roman Empire. It is a classic adventure filled with slapstick brawls and the indomitable spirit of the Gauls.
