Nur drei kleine Worte
It starts with three small words: "Play my girlfriend!" — leaving April Parker speechless when Mitch Malone, the most sought-after bachelor in Willow Creek, asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend. April has her own reasons for going along with the ruse, but pretending to be a couple has a way of blurring the line into something real.
A History of Us (published in German as Nur drei kleine Worte) is the third novel set in Jen DeLuca's Willow Creek/Well Met series, following the town's Renaissance Faire community through fake dating, old grudges, and the slow realization that some feelings were never really pretend.
This story is designed to be read as a standalone, though it features recurring characters and settings that appear throughout the series.
The author drew inspiration for the series from her own experiences volunteering as a pub wench at a local Renaissance Faire.
