Synopsis

Emory Scott is sent to Blackchurch, a remote, walled estate where wealthy families exile their most dangerous and uncontrollable sons to be dealt with far from the world. She is there to work, but the one person she cannot avoid is Will Grayson, the man she holds responsible for the worst night of her life.

Trapped together with no easy way out, Emory and Will are forced into a proximity that reopens old wounds even as it sparks something neither wants to admit. As Will draws a volatile new "pack" of men around him and a game of revenge and survival plays out behind Blackchurch's walls, Emory must decide how much of her hatred is really fear, and how much is desire.

Nightfall is the fourth and final full-length novel in Penelope Douglas's Devil's Night series, a dark, obsessive second-chance romance about trauma, forgiveness, and the thin line between the people we fear and the people we want.
