I really enjoyed so much of this book but the ending just wasn’t it. Not even remotely believable even with the amount of suspended reality required to enjoy this series. And the relationship push/pull was similar across each couple in this entire series, and the love/hate reason was the weakest of them all, making me wish for a different situation. But - I liked these two as characters best, and I loved the mystery of Blackchurch, which really drove the story for me. I also really liked how a number of connections to other characters and events of other books were made.
