Synopsis

Set between Steelheart and Firefight, this short novella follows David and the Reckoners as they face a new Epic in Newcago — Mitosis, who can create copies of himself indefinitely. As the team works out how to stop an Epic who can never be outnumbered, David draws on the knowledge and tactics developed in defeating Steelheart. Mitosis is a brief, action-focused story originally published as an ebook exclusive that serves as a bridge between the first two Reckoners novels.
