Ice Planet Barbarians
When aliens abduct Georgie Carruthers and a group of other women from Earth, they expect to be sold on the auction block, not stranded. A malfunction leaves their ship's escape pod crash-landed on a frozen, unfamiliar planet the survivors nickname Not-Hoth, and Georgie becomes the group's reluctant leader as they scavenge for food and shelter.
Then she meets Vektal: chief of the sa-khui, a tribe of towering, blue-skinned, horned hunters who have survived on Not-Hoth for generations with the help of a symbiotic organism called the khui. When Vektal's khui reacts to Georgie, both of them are pulled into resonance, the sa-khui's mating bond, whether either of them is ready for it or not.
