Barbarian's Mate

Synopsis

Barbarian's Mate is the sixth book in Ruby Dixon's Ice Planet Barbarians series, an explicit science-fiction romance following human women stranded among alien barbarians on an ice-locked planet.

Josie has watched every other human woman on the planet find her soulmate through "resonance," the sa-khui bonding instinct, and longs for the same. When resonance finally strikes for her, it pairs her not with someone she wants but with Haeden — the cranky, disapproving alien male she has clashed with since they met. Thrown together and unable to deny the physical pull between them, Josie and Haeden have to work through years of friction to find out whether the antagonism was ever the whole story.

The book continues the series' pattern of enemies-to-lovers, forced-proximity romance, pairing a grumpy hero with a strong-willed heroine.
