Synopsis

A string of suicides hits a series of seaside resorts, and DI Amy Winter suspects they are nothing of the kind. When a police officer becomes the latest victim, the case turns personal.

A group of teenagers may hold the answers, but someone in the community is guarding a secret worth killing for. Amy is working the case in the worst possible circumstances: her mother, the serial killer Lillian Grimes, has been released from prison, and Amy has to face her own history to get anywhere before more bodies surface.

Flesh and Blood is the fourth book in Caroline Mitchell's DI Amy Winter series. Mitchell is a former CID detective, and the investigative detail shows.
