Synopsis

In 1977, a young writer seeking inspiration in southern Mexico finds his comfortable expatriate life upended by two magnetic students on spring break, forcing him to question his understanding of love. Eleven years later, he returns to Mexico and begins a letter to his boyfriend, revisiting those dramatic events. Through his reflections, he tries to understand how a confused youth became a man capable of love.
