Synopsis

Arden Hart has spent a year detached from her own life since a devastating collision with a drunk driver left her behind her peers and haunted by nightmares. She copes by keeping everyone at a distance — until Henry Ames, the young stranger who pulled her from the wreckage, shows up as her school's new Creative Writing teacher. Forced to confront the trauma she's buried through his class assignments, Arden finds an undeniable connection to the one person she can't have.

Alyssa Wilde tells a slow-burn student-teacher romance about trauma, healing, and falling for someone determined to keep their relationship strictly professional.
