Synopsis

Attack on Titan, Vol. 14 continues Hajime Isayama's post-apocalyptic manga series, published in English by Kodansha Comics in November 2014. Commander Erwin Smith reaches a turning point: convinced that the royal government has put its own wealth and position ahead of humanity's survival, he sets his boldest plan yet in motion. To carry it out, Eren and Krista are pushed back into danger, while Armin, Mikasa, and the rest of the Survey Corps are recast by their own government as traitors rather than humanity's protectors.

This volume shifts the series' focus from the external threat of the Titans to the internal politics of the walled cities, as betrayal, hidden agendas, and morally complicated choices among the Survey Corps' leadership move to the foreground — themes that run through the manga as a whole, alongside its dark fantasy, post-apocalyptic setting.
