Synopsis

Attack on Titan, vol. 23 collects chapters 91–94 of Hajime Isayama's manga — "The Other Side of the Ocean," "Marley's Soldiers," "Midnight Train" and "The Boy Inside the Walls" — first published in Japan on August 9, 2017. The volume marks a major turn in the series, leaving the walls behind to follow the nation of Marley four years after the Battle of Shiganshina, as its military and Eldian Warriors — among them Zeke Yeager, Reiner Braun, Porco Galliard and Pieck Finger — fight the Mid-East Allied Forces.

The book introduces two new young Warrior candidates, Gabi Braun and Falco Grice, whose training and loyalty to Marley set up the series' next arc. Reiner, watching Gabi follow the same brutal path he once walked, begins to question what it is costing her.
