A Chance Inheritance

When Lizzie Cornell dies, she leaves her small house and the family bait shop to her three granddaughters. Lainie, Jodi and Becky - a runaway bride, a free spirit and a corporate executive - come back to Catfish, Texas, each of them needing a fresh start more than they want to admit.

Sharing a two-bedroom house and running the Catfish Fisherman's Hut is nothing like the summers they remember on the banks of the Red River. The days are long and hot, the tourists are rude, and a local river guide named Chris Adams has eyes only for Becky.

Carolyn Brown's warm small-town Southern story is a short Audible Original narrated by Brittany Pressley; the audio edition also includes the bonus novella The Third Wish.
