Dark Matter

Dark•Matter is a five-book series of contemporary horror/dark-fantasy novels tied to the Dark•Matter setting for the Alternity role-playing game, published by Wizards of the Coast (2000–2001) with a different author for each entry. The books follow agents of the secretive Hoffman Institute as they investigate paranormal conspiracies lurking beneath the surface of the modern world. The line was cancelled after its fifth volume, which circulated only as a manuscript/limited electronic release rather than in print.
