By Dust Consumed
Synopsis
By Dust Consumed is the fifth and final novel in the Dark•Matter line, Don Bassingthwaite's second contribution to the series of paranormal-conspiracy fiction set in the world of the Alternity roleplaying game, following If Whispers Call.
It has an unusual publishing history. Bassingthwaite delivered the manuscript in 2001, just as Wizards of the Coast discontinued the Alternity line, and the book was never issued in print. It was made available briefly as a downloadable PDF before being withdrawn, and no publisher's synopsis for it circulates today.
