Synopsis
If Whispers Call is the second novel in the Dark•Matter line, a series of paranormal-conspiracy fiction set in the world of the Alternity roleplaying game. A young woman lies in a deep and inexplicable coma in a Chicago hospital, and no one can say why.
Investigators from the Hoffmann Institute — the organization that quietly looks into what the rest of the world would rather not see — trace the cause to a small Chicago cemetery, abandoned for decades and haunted by an apparition that has been seen wandering among its graves. What they find there reaches back further than anyone expects, and the answers, if there are any, lie on the other side.
