Synopsis

In the sweltering Florida heat of 1970, pregnant teenagers are sent to Wellwood House to hide their shame and give up their babies. Fifteen-year-old Fern is one of them, navigating a strict regime and the company of other girls facing similar fates. When a mysterious book of witchcraft falls into their hands, the girls discover a dangerous new power. But this power comes with a steep price, and the consequences could be deadly.
