Synopsis

An ebook-only short story that introduces Jo Marie and Paul, and shows how the two of them first met - before Jo Marie becomes the owner of the Rose Harbor Inn in Cedar Cove.

Jo Marie takes the seat next to Paul inside the Seattle Seahawks' stadium and feels a spark. His striking blue eyes and kind smile tell her he is someone special. But when they start talking, one obstacle stands between them and a fairy-tale ending: Paul is in the military and will ship out of Seattle within six weeks.

As Jo Marie wonders whether to open her heart again, she decides that, whatever the stakes, she cannot pass up her chance at true love. A brief companion piece to Debbie Macomber's Rose Harbor novels.
