Welcome to Neverbury
Somewhere on the English coast is Neverbury, which has all the usual small-town difficulties. Parking. Planning permission. Demons. A serial killer or two, some immortals, a handful of time travellers, several ghosts, at least one haunted house, and a village council with strong views about all of it.
Chris Lynch writes it as comic horror in the British seaside register: the supernatural treated as a local nuisance, and the local nuisances treated as apocalyptic. There are gods above and something large below, and residents are encouraged to praise both.
Short, episodic and closer to a collection of dispatches from a town than to a single plot.
