Synopsis

The concluding volume of Robert Brockway's Vicious Circuit trilogy brings both timelines to Los Angeles. In the early eighties, Carey and Randall arrive in an LA punk scene tangled up with Chinatown, where a young woman with silver hair is the Empty One in charge, and her former lover, another Empty One called Zang, has turned on his own side for reasons of his own.

In the present day, Kaitlyn's powers keep growing and the visions that come with them may be telling her how to end the angels for good. The catch is that testing the idea means finding a live one, and Los Angeles is the only place she knows to look.

Punk clubs, sunken suburbs, Chinatown and something enormous swimming offshore. The jokes hold to the last page and so does the body count.
