Synopsis

Merlin, son of Prince Corwin, is nearing the end of his studies on Shadow Earth when he finds himself targeted by an unknown assailant each year. A recent attack leads to the loss of a past love, the discovery of a peculiar deck of Trumps, and a reunion with an old ally.
