Trails of Love

When careful, keen-minded businessman Graham Braden travels to Oak Falls, Virginia for the wedding of his friend Reed Cross to Grace Montgomery, he intends to stay only long enough to help renovate Reed's new theater. Instead he is asked to assess, and possibly invest in, a business belonging to Grace's free-spirited sister, Morgyn Montgomery. Morgyn is everything Graham is not: impulsive, gloriously disorganized, and far more attuned to the energy flowing through her eclectic little retail shop than to the accuracy of her ledgers. Graham likes numbers that add up and plans that hold, while Morgyn trusts instinct and the feel of a room. As he digs into the tangle of her records and she pushes back against his buttoned-up scrutiny, the friction between them sparks into something neither expected. He is not ready to open his pockets to the sassy, sharp-witted shop owner, and he is even less prepared for how badly he wants to open his heart. Set among the horse farms and close-knit families of Oak Falls, their opposites-attract courtship tests whether a man who measures everything can take the one risk he cannot calculate.
