Synopsis

Sloane Walton, Knockemout's fiercely loyal librarian, and Lucian Rollins, the ruthless, impeccably tailored power broker who claws his way through the corridors of influence, have been circling each other for years in a war of barbs and buried longing. Beneath Lucian's cold control lies a childhood he refuses to face — and Sloane may be the only person who sees the man beneath the armor.

When old secrets resurface and new threats gather around the town they both protect in their own ways, the two are forced together, and the enemies-to-lovers tension that has simmered for a decade finally boils over.

The final Knockemout novel delivers a darker, more emotional slow burn while tying off the series' lingering threads, closing out Lucy Score's small-town world with its highest-stakes romance yet.
