Tough Jews
Synopsis
In the 1920s and 30s, Brooklyn was home to a notorious group of Jewish gangsters, whose exploits are now the stuff of legend. Known by colorful nicknames like Buggsy Goldstein and Kid Twist Reles, these fearless thugs rose from street brawls to become the feared execution squad for a national crime syndicate. This book offers an in-depth look at Murder Inc., the corporation of death that shaped organized crime, and the street-level muscle behind figures like Bugsy Siegel and Meyer Lansky.
