Synopsis

Kira Navárez always dreamed of exploring new worlds, but a routine mission turns into a terrifying ordeal when she unearths an alien artifact. American author best known for The Inheritance Cycle, a fantasy series that began with Eragon (2002). Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Paradise Valley, Montana, he was homeschooled and began writing Eragon at age fifteen; his family self-published the novel in 2002, and Alfred A. Knopf reissued it in 2003 after author Carl Hiaasen brought it to the publisher's attention. He has also written the Fractalverse science-fiction novels To Sleep in a Sea of Stars and Fractal Noise.
