Tippy Toe Murder

Spring in Tinker's Cove brings two unsettling events: Caro Hutton, a beloved retired dance teacher, goes missing, and an elderly woman who kept to herself is found dead. The town assumes coincidence. Lucy Stone does not.

Pregnant, short of time, and up to her ears in family obligations, Lucy pursues the connection anyway, working through old grievances, property lines, and the quiet things neighbors know about each other but never say aloud.

The second Lucy Stone mystery keeps the series' domestic texture — school runs, deadlines, a crowded kitchen — while tightening a genuine puzzle around a small Maine town.
