Synopsis
This Fatal Kiss is a Slavic reimagining of The Little Mermaid set in a hauntingly opulent spa town. Gisela, a water nymph cursed to haunt the river where she drowned, longs to return to the family she left behind, but regaining her humanity requires a kiss from a mortal who doesn't see her as a monster. Kazik, the spirit-hunting grandson of a local witch, botches her exorcism and finds himself blackmailed into playing matchmaker so she can win a kiss from a handsome stranger. Told across multiple perspectives, the story turns into a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance as Kazik falls for Gisela himself, and the young man she's set her heart on turns out to be tangled up in her own troubled past.
