Synopsis

Having barely escaped the Dames Blanches with their lives, Lou, Reid, Coco, and Ansel are fugitives — hunted at once by coven, crown, and Church, with nowhere left to hide. To survive, they need allies strong enough to stand against Lou's mother, the witch queen Morgane, who wants Lou's blood for a ritual that would kill every child of the king. But protection comes at a steep price, and as Reid recoils from his own new magic while Lou spends her memories to fuel hers, the rift between them widens into exactly the weakness Morgane is waiting to exploit. The second book of the Serpent & Dove trilogy.
