The Royal Assignment

Maggie Patel is a reporter at the New York Spectator when she draws an assignment she cannot refuse and does not want: an interview with Edward, Crown Prince of Bairmorne.

She knew him once. As a child she lived at the Royal Palace, where her mother worked as a housemaid, until the two of them were turned out amid a scandal no one would explain. Going back means facing both the boy she remembers and the reason her family left.

An Audible Original romantic comedy performed by a full cast with an immersive soundscape, The Royal Assignment plays its royal-romance premise straight and warm, with the palace's old secrets running under the courtship.
