The Little Book of Goodbyes

The Little Book of Goodbyes is a short collection of interlinked stories and essays built around the idea of parting — from people, from places, from earlier versions of a life. Much of the material centers on Palakkad in Kerala, and Etteth moves fluidly between fiction and personal reflection rather than keeping the two separate.

Rather than a single sustained narrative, the book works as a set of discrete pieces that circle the same emotional territory: what it means to leave and be left, and how memory holds onto places and people after they're gone. The tone is reflective and elegiac throughout.

Published by Westland, this is a small-press literary release best approached as a collection to read in pieces rather than straight through as a conventional novel.
