The Humans

On Thanksgiving in lower Manhattan, Erik and Deirdre Blake bring their two daughters — one struggling with her career and relationship, the other battling a serious illness — to join them at an apartment that feels increasingly claustrophobic as old resentments surface. As the night wears on, the family's carefully maintained facade begins to crack under the weight of grief, unspoken anger, and the lingering shadow of September 11.
