The flamethrowers
In 1977, Reno arrives in New York City with a passion for speed, motorcycles, and photography. She immerses herself in the vibrant Soho art scene, where she finds intellectual and emotional education among a group of bohemian artists. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she begins a relationship with artist Sandro Valera, following him to Italy. There, they become entangled in the violent political turmoil of the 'Years of Lead,' forcing Reno to confront art, truth, and her own identity.
