Synopsis

In a Britain where time travel and cloning are commonplace, literature is the ultimate battleground. When a notorious criminal steals the original manuscript of Martin Chuzzlewit and kidnaps Jane Eyre herself from the pages of Brontë's novel, it's up to literary detective Thursday Next to jump into the book and save the day. She'll need all her wits to navigate a world where fiction and reality blur, and literary crimes have real-world consequences.
