Graham Greene
Henry Graham Greene (2 October 1904 – 3 April 1991) was an English novelist, short-story writer, playwright and journalist, widely regarded as one of the major British writers of the twentieth century. Born in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, and educated at Balliol College, Oxford, he converted to Roman Catholicism in 1926 and worked as a copy editor on The Times before becoming film critic and literary editor of The Spectator.
