Talented

Talia Lyons has one reason to be at the McDonough School for the Talented: to learn to use her Talent as a Mental Manipulator well enough to kill Ian Crane, the man who murdered her parents.

Her final year of training is supposed to be about nothing else. But friendships deepen, a romance she did not plan for takes hold, and the ordinary business of being a teenager keeps pulling at the single-minded revenge she has built her life around.

Talented is the first book of Sophie Davis's Talented Saga, a dystopian series about psychically gifted operatives — mind readers, manipulators and assassins — and a girl whose heart is caught between love and rage.
