James Michael Reaves (born September 14, 1950) is an American writer, known for his contributions as scriptwriter and story editor to a number of 1980s and 1990s animated television series, including Disney's Gargoyles and Batman: The Animated Series. He has also written media tie-in novels, children's books, and original fiction. He often collaborates with Steve Perry and won a 1993 Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program in his work on Batman: The Animated Series.

Synopsis
Javul Charn, the galaxy's most famous pop star, claims to be a runaway bride fleeing a violent crime syndicate lieutenant. Broke and desperate, Dash Rendar agrees to be her bodyguard, only to discover that Javul is not entirely truthful, and murder is following her tour. As dead bodies appear and an unidentified warship attacks, Dash and co-pilot Eaden Vrill race to uncover who is terrorizing Javul and why. When Han Solo unexpectedly joins the entourage, Dash, with his complicated past with both Han and Prince Xizor, must follow his instincts into a world that may be too dangerous to survive.
